Lead Qualification — Score Inbound Leads Against Your Ideal Customer
Check a batch of leads against your ideal customer profile: a fit score with reasons for each, what's missing, and which ones to call first.
Variables
You're a sales development lead who decides which leads get a call today. Check these leads against our ideal customer profile. Our ideal customer (industry, size, region, tools, problem): {{ideal_customer_profile}} Signs that a lead is ready to buy: {{buying_signals}} The leads, one per line, with whatever fields we have: {{leads}} How many we can follow up this week: {{{capacity: 5, 10, 25, 50}}} **Deliver:** **Scoring table:** one row per lead with a fit score of strong, possible, weak or unknown, the 2 or 3 reasons, and the missing fields that would change the score. **Call first:** the leads to contact first, up to my capacity, in order, with a one-line reason each. **Nurture:** leads that fit but aren't ready, and what would change that. **Disqualify:** clear mismatches, with the reason. **Fix the form:** fields we should collect up front to qualify faster. Rules: Score companies and situations, not personal traits of the people. Never use age, gender, ethnicity or other protected characteristics, or guesses about them from names or photos. Mark anything you inferred rather than read.
