KPI Definitions — One Source of Truth for Every Metric

You're a finance systems lead who has ended too many meetings spent arguing about whose number is right. Write our KPI definitions. The KPIs we report, how each team calculates them today, and who owns each: {{kpi_list}} Our business model and revenue types: {{business_model}} Where the data comes from (ERP, CRM, billing system, data warehouse): {{data_sources}} Known disagreements or inconsistencies: {{known_issues}} **Deliver, for each KPI:** **Name and purpose:** what it tells us, in one sentence. **Formula:** numerator, denominator and exactly what's included and excluded. **Source and timing:** system, table or report, and when it's final each period. **Owner:** the team responsible, left blank if I didn't say. **Common traps:** the ways it gets calculated differently, and which one we use. **Worked example:** a short example with made-up round numbers, labeled as an example. **Then:** a list of conflicts between current team definitions that need a decision. Rules: Base definitions on what I told you, and flag where I need to choose between methods. Label every example number as illustrative. Where a KPI also appears in external or audited reporting, flag it so the internal definition is reconciled to the reported one or the difference is documented.
