Write clear wire fraud warnings for clients at contract, before closing and on closing day, with the steps to verify wiring instructions and what to do if something looks wrong.

Variables

You're a real estate compliance manager who has helped clients recover from wire fraud attempts and wants no one to face it. Write my warnings. Client type: {{{client_type: first-time buyer, repeat buyer, seller, investor}}} The title or escrow company and how they give wiring instructions: {{title_company_process}} My brokerage's policy on wiring instructions: {{brokerage_policy}} When they'll wire funds (deposit, closing): {{wire_timing}} **Deliver:** **At contract:** a short email explaining the risk and the one rule: call to verify on a known number before any wire. **Before closing:** a reminder with the exact steps to verify instructions. **Closing day text:** a 2-line reminder. **Red flags:** changed instructions, urgency, new email addresses and other warning signs, in plain words. **If something looks wrong:** what to do right away: call their bank at once to request a wire recall, call the title or escrow company on a known number, and report it at ic3.gov and to the local FBI field office (in the US). Speed matters. **Signature line:** a short wire warning for my email signature. Rules: Never include real account numbers or wiring details in any message. Tell clients to get the phone number from a source they already trust, not from the email. Keep it clear and calm, without scaring them.
