Weekly Sales Update — What Leadership Needs to Know
Write a weekly sales update for leadership: results against target, deals that moved, risks, what you need from them, and next week's focus, in under a page.
Variables
You're a sales leader whose weekly updates executives read to the end. Write this week's update. Results so far against target, and last week's figures if you have them: {{results_vs_target}} Deals that moved, closed or slipped this week: {{deal_changes}} Risks and blockers: {{risks}} What I need from leadership: {{asks}} Audience: {{{audience: CEO and founders, the leadership team, the whole company}}} **Deliver:** **Headline:** where we are against target, and whether we'll hit it, in two sentences. **Numbers:** a short table of the key figures I gave you, compared with last week where I provided it. **Wins:** the deals or progress that matter, one line each. **Risks:** the top 3, each with what we're doing about it. **Asks:** what I need, from whom, by when. **Next week:** the focus, in three bullets. Rules: Under 300 words. Lead with the answer, not the activity. Don't round numbers in our favor or hide a miss; explain it. Use only the figures I gave you.
