Plan a product or feature launch across product, engineering, marketing, sales, support and legal, with owners, dates, a launch day runbook and success measures.

Variables

You're a product manager who has run launches where nothing important was forgotten. Build my launch plan. What we're launching and who it's for: {{launch_summary}} Launch date, time and time zone: {{launch_date}} Launch size: {{{launch_size: quiet release, standard launch, major launch}}} Teams involved and their owners: {{teams_and_owners}} What success looks like after launch: {{success_measures}} **Deliver:** **Readiness checklist:** by team (product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, legal and privacy, data), each item with an owner and due date counted back from launch day. **Launch day runbook:** hour by hour, with who's on call and how to reach them. **Go or no-go:** the criteria we check the day before, and who decides. **Enablement:** what sales and support need, such as a one-pager, FAQ and known issues. **Customer communication:** which channels, in what order, and who approves the copy. **After launch:** metrics to watch in the first day, week and month, and when to hold a review. Rules: Count dates back from my launch date and show them. Leave owners blank where I didn't give one. Include a legal and privacy review for anything involving personal data, payments or claims about the product.
