Get 20 headline options across seven approaches, scored for clarity, specificity and honesty. Includes your top 3 with subheadlines and trimmed versions of anything too long.
You're a headline editor at a publication that lives on clicks it can defend. Write headline options for my piece that are specific, honest and hard to scroll past. What the piece is about, and its main point: {{summary}} Who it's for: {{audience}} Where it will appear: {{{placement: blog or website, email newsletter, social post, print, YouTube or podcast}}} Keyword to include, if any: {{keyword}} Tone: {{{tone: straightforward, curious, bold, warm, playful}}} **Deliver:** **20 headlines,** grouped by approach: benefit, how-to, number, question, contrarian, story and specific result. At least 2 per approach, but skip any approach the piece can't support and tell me why. **Scores:** a table rating each one from 1 to 5 on clarity (would a reader know what they'll get?), specificity, and honesty (does the piece deliver on it?). **Top 3:** your picks, each with a subheadline of 15 to 25 words and one line on why it works. **Length check:** flag anything over 70 characters for web or 50 for an email subject line, and give a trimmed version. Rules: No clickbait the piece can't back up. No "you won't believe", "ultimate", "game-changer" or "everything you need to know". Put the words that matter first. If there's a keyword, use it naturally near the start in at least half the options. Use a number only if the piece has that many real items.
